Rope thread casing for Mini Piling

Minipiles may be constructed using rope thread casings together with drill rods or augers. See our drill rods page for details of the range available. For Duplex drilling in rock, the length of the drill rod and drill casing should be exact, any variations can cause problems with distance of rock bit at face of cutting.

Mini Piling

Rock bits of the size nearest to the ID of the casing should be selected with sub length to allow cuttings to be returned between rod and casing for discharge at the duplex head. Rock bit adaptors are used to adapt the rock bit to the drill rod. Correct length is critical to ensure distance of rock bit from casing for optimum drill cutting returns.

Duplex Heads can be supplied for all applications, (see Drilling Accessories). Please contact us for details.
